Description
The Golden Technologies Buzzaround CarryOn is a lightweight folding travel scooter that packs down small enough for a car trunk, a cruise cabin or an airline trip. Mobility Equipment of Jacksonville carries the Golden Technologies Buzzaround CarryOn for customers in Jacksonville, FL and across Northeast Florida, with local setup, service and support from our Philips Hwy showroom.
Whether you are heading to an appointment, shopping, visiting family or getting around the neighborhood, this folding travel scooter is built to make daily trips easier.
Why Choose the Golden Technologies Buzzaround CarryOn
The CarryOn folds to just 12 inches high and separates into two pieces. The heaviest piece weighs only 47.5 lbs. without the seat and battery, and four carry handles make lifting easier.
An airline-friendly 12.5 AH lithium-ion battery delivers up to 14 miles per charge. Front and rear baskets, a cane holder, a kickstand, a USB port and a drink holder are all standard, and the infinitely adjustable tiller lets you set a comfortable reach.
Front and rear lighting, flip-up armrests and 4 inches of ground clearance round out a scooter that feels at home on a ship deck, at the airport or at the St. Johns Town Center.

Riding Your Buzzaround CarryOn in Northeast Florida
Florida heat, summer storms and sandy sidewalks are part of daily life in Jacksonville, so a little care goes a long way. Store your scooter indoors or in a garage rather than in a hot car or out in the rain, and keep the batteries out of extreme heat. Wipe off sand and moisture after rides near the beach or after a storm.
Charge the batteries after each day of use so they stay topped up, and check tire condition and the tiller adjustment from time to time. If anything feels different, our service team can inspect your scooter at our showroom or in your home.
How to Choose the Right Mobility Scooter
Before you buy, think about where you will ride most, how far you usually travel and how you will move the scooter between your home and your car. Our team walks every Jacksonville customer through these questions, and we are happy to compare the Golden Technologies Buzzaround CarryOn side by side with other models in our showroom.
- 3-wheel or 4-wheel: 3-wheel scooters turn tighter and give more leg room, which helps indoors and in stores. 4-wheel scooters feel steadier on sidewalks, ramps and uneven ground.
- Weight capacity: choose a scooter rated comfortably above your weight plus anything you carry in the basket.
- Range: pick a range that covers your longest normal day with some to spare, since heat, hills and heavier loads all shorten it.
- Portability: check the weight of the heaviest piece and make sure you or a helper can lift it into your vehicle.
- Seat and controls: a seat that swivels and a tiller that adjusts make getting on and off much easier.
Local Setup and Support for Your Buzzaround CarryOn
When you buy from Mobility Equipment of Jacksonville, you are working with a local team, not a warehouse. We can adjust the seat and tiller to fit you, show you how to take the scooter apart and put it back together, and explain charging so you get the most from your batteries.
If you ever need help later, call our showroom. We handle in-home service, battery replacement and repairs across Jacksonville, Orange Park, Ponte Vedra, Fernandina Beach, St. Augustine and nearby communities, so help is close by when you need it.
Getting Around Jacksonville on a Scooter
Jacksonville is spread out, so a dependable scooter makes a real difference. Many of our customers use their scooter for trips to the pharmacy and grocery store, medical appointments, church, family visits, and outings to shopping centers, parks and the Riverwalk. Many public places in Northeast Florida have accessible entrances, ramps and curb cuts, and the right scooter helps you use them with confidence.
If you plan to travel by car, measure your trunk or cargo area and bring the measurements to our showroom. We will help you check that the Buzzaround CarryOn fits before you buy.
Who the Buzzaround CarryOn Is Ideal For
